Our main courses were two – a tofu and bock choi dish and a bean and quinoa dish! While we usually eat meat based dishes, both of these were amazing and sealed the deal on Quinta do Arneiro as our rehearsal dinner spot. Though it lies within 90 minutes’ drive from our house, Quinta do Gradil first came on our radar as a quinta to know through a company in California called Naked Wines. 5km from Gradil, where there is a great restaurant and a grocery store for small purchases. If you want a bigger supermarket, there are all the big ones in Malveira, 8 minutes away, as well as many restaurants. Mafra is just 15 minutes away too. The beautiful Ericeira and its beaches are 20 minutes away if you want to enjoy the coast. If you want to go for a walk to Lisbon or Sintra, they are only 30 minutes away so you can wander around to your heart's content :)...
